A partire dal 2004 coordina un gruppo di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Oncologia  (Laboratory of Molecular Oncology, Istituto di Candiolo IRCCS). La ricerca è incentrata sull'identificazione di mutazioni in geni che possano rappresentare validi bersagli terapeutici in tumori umani e sullo sviluppo di terapie mirate contro questo tipo di lesioni molecolari.
